Ekklesia is a UK-first directory for Christian businesses, charities, organisations, sole traders and professionals. It gives people a clear place to discover who is doing what, and gives those organisations a way to be found.

Christian businesses and organisations are doing useful work across the UK. Finding them, however, can depend on individual websites, social media, personal recommendations and local networks.
That makes discovery harder than it needs to be, especially when you are looking for a business or organisation outside your existing network. Ekklesia brings these listings into one place so people can find out who they are, what they do and how to contact them.
The directory is deliberately simple. Its focus is useful information, clear navigation and a considered approach to trust, rather than a crowded marketplace or an aggressive promotional platform.
A verification mark means that Ekklesia has been able to check specific information about an organisation. It is not an endorsement, a guarantee of services, a statement about theology or a promise about how an organisation conducts itself.
Ekklesia is being built independently by Daniel, a software developer. The idea came in June 2023, and development began in October 2025.
Daniel develops the platform, makes the product decisions and works on its continued improvement. The starting point is practical: build a useful foundation for discovering Christian businesses and organisations.
At the time of writing, around 80 businesses and organisations are listed on Ekklesia. 48 of them are verified. Most are based in the UK, with some organisations also listed in the United States.
These figures change as organisations are reviewed and added.
The longer-term goal is a Christian business hub where organisations can communicate, find one another and develop useful working relationships.
That is beyond what one person can build immediately. For now, Ekklesia is focused on the part that can be built properly: a clear, useful way to discover Christian businesses and organisations.
