First of all, I hope you're all well and blessed with a great week full of testimonies.
I'm also trusting and believing your businesses are seeing favour and success as you continue operating and growing in the things you're doing for the Lord and for each other.
Quite similar to my previous post, I've been going full throttle with building out Talents, and can now say it's in its pre-release version. It's been available for access and use for a while now, but these latest changes are much closer to the vision I've had for it.
Why am I writing this as a post?
Talents isn't a business nor is it associated with a business. It's simply a tool made by a Christian to address a friction point I had in the past with using Excel/spreadsheets. (Those who are eagle‑eyed may have seen Talents advertised on this platform before, but I've since removed the listing.)
🛠️ So, What’s New in Talents (Dev‑Log Highlights)
Here are some of the major updates that have landed recently — for those who like the technical/dev side of things:
- Projection Planner: A lightweight “what‑if” simulation tool that lets you model hypothetical expenses and instantly see the impact on your monthly and annual available balances.
- UI Refinements Across the App: Improved spacing, typography, layout consistency, and visual hierarchy — especially across the dashboard, monthly view, and annual view.
- Lightweight Savings System: A simple, intentional savings tracker that avoids complexity while still giving users clarity on their goals and progress.
- Dashboard Visual Modes (Basic, Standard, Complex): Users can now switch between different levels of detail depending on how much information they want to see at a glance.
- General Performance + Stability Improvements: Faster loads, cleaner state handling, and reduced visual noise across the board.
Now with the bulk of development done for Talents, I can return some of that attention back to Ekklesia — building out the app and growing the directory to be a blessing to all.
More updates soon, and thank you all for your continued support and faithfulness in what you're building.
